		The new 308 reveals its intentions: to seduce you! The 308 brings together the best in technology and design to provide an intense driving experience, in a sophisticated cabin. This exceptional result combines with one of the best environmental balance sheets.
		Design In its own way the 308 expresses the characteristic Peugeot genes, which provide every model of the brand with its distinctive identity. Rear The view from the back contributes to the car's look, with its wrap-round bumber and its rear light cluster that together with the panoramic rear window emphasise its generous "hips".         Front Below its sharp look, two different intakes are available: the "classical" (at the entry level) and a more "sporty" one.         Bonnet Its streamlined bonnet is behind its dynamic and fluid V shape lines that go up the bonnet and along the window frames.
		Comfort The 308's semi-high architecture gives a lot of advantages to storage capacity and interior space. The generous front seats, the many, clever storage spaces and interior lighting all enhances the cabin. In the Peugeot 308, nothing obscures the view. The light comes in mainly through the roof, reaching right to the back, and through the panoramic rear window, which is part of the swathe of windows. Finish The 308's finish has been designed with particular care. The cut of the very elegant trim contributes in a big way to the sense of robustness and reliability that reigns in the cabin.         Glass roof Peugeot is the first car manufacturer to provide a saloon with such a vast glass roof! This panoramic glass roof, tinted as standard and heat relexive, reduces the transmission of solar energy and provides incredible visibility and airiness.         Dashboard The 308's dashboard provides clear, forward visibility. The consistent quality of its materials contributes to the interior's acoustic comfort. The colours are harmonised with the cabin's decor.         Chrome The items ringed in chrome, the ring round the gearshift and the door handles all underline the Peugeot 308 style.         Technology RT4 Multimedia System, JBL Audio System, Hands-free GSM Phone and GPS are among the technological items that comes with the 308.
		Performance with its low centre of gravity and wide front chassis track, the 308 gives a dynamic performance on the road. These features are borne from Peugeot's vast experience and expertise in terms of road holding. Road Holding The 308's steering and suspension, support by the rigid body, have been finely tuned to ensure the best possible balance between roadholding and comfort, and makes the 308 a benchmark in ita category.         6-speed controlled manual gearbox This 6-speed gearbox eliminates the need for clutch pedal. For drivers who like to control gear changes, they can do so using the gear lever or paddles behind the steering wheel.         Steering The electrohydraulic power-assisted steering provides the driver with maximum driving precision, ensured by the Pseudo McPherson front axles, the rear axles with torsion beam and wide track and large tyres.         Range of engines The 308 offers a wide range of high-performance engine and transmission assemblies which are modern, economical and ecological. There is a choice of ten combinations, to ensure the widest possible customer base can be satisfied: three petrol engines, three HDi diesel engines and five gearboxes.
		Safety The 308 has only one raison d'etre: its occupants. That is why it is its duty to protect you and your pasengers well. Airbags The 308 has one of the most effective protection systems available. This includes shock absorption, front seat belts with pyrotechnic pretensioners and up to 9 airbags around the cabin.   ABS, ESP The 308 is equipped with a complete system to ensure your total safety: optimised suspension, powerful brakes, intelligent lighting, electrically assisted steering, ABS, EBFD, emergency brake assist with electronic stability program and ASR anti-slip regulation.
		Environment The reduction of greenhouse effec gas emissions is a priority issue for Peugeot. The 308 has environmental protection built into its design. This approach is reflected in the use of technologies to improve its environmental effectiveness and in the special care accorded iin its aerodynamic lines. Recycling 95% of the vehicle is recyclable at the end of its life.   Energy Saver Tyres Developed together with Michelin exclusively for the 308 on its launch, the new architecture of its tyres reduces road friction thus the amount of energy required to motor the car, while preserving its road grip.   Aerodynamics The aerodynamics, the control of size and reduction in friction all contribute to a car's environmental performance by reducing consumption.   Engine The PSA Peugeot Citroen Group has an innovation policy that applies equally to the motors themselves and to the anti-pollution techniques employed.
