Nasim Sdn Bhd (NSB) was incorporated on Aug 4, 1997 and has its head office at Menara Naza, which is located at 115, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The company became the official distributor for Peugeot in Malaysia on Jan 2, 2008 and its first Peugeot Blue Box was launched in Glenmarie, Shah Alam on Feb 15, 2008 and it remains the company’s flagship Peugeot showroom. Since then, Nasim has launched several Peugeot models to the Malaysian market which have picked up numerous accolades including the New Straits Times / Maybank Car of the Year 2009 award for the Peugeot 308 Turbo.

Under Nasim’s stewardship, the popularity of the Peugeot brand has been steadily increasing among Malaysians, making it the third best selling European brand in the market. In 2009, Nasim saw sales jump nearly five times to 3,766 units, which represented 86% of Peugeot’s sales in Asean that year.

In 2010, both Nasim and Peugeot altered the landscape of the Malaysian automotive market when the French carmaker announced it had selected Malaysia as its production hub for right-hand drive markets in the region. Under this new partnership, Nasim launched the Malaysian made 207 sedan in November 2010 which has since been exported to Thailand and Indonesia will soon be shipped to Brunei, Sri Lanka and selected right-hand drive markets in Africa.

On the network front, Nasim currently has 22 sales outlets and 18 after-sales outlets located in most of the major markets in the country.

In 2011, Nasim expanded its model line-up to include the 308CC, RCZ and Peugeot’s new flagship sedan, the all-new 508. Together with its existing model line-up, the company sold a record 5,400 units in 2011, which is the highest ever achieved by the Peugeot brand in Malaysia. In addition, Peugeot won its second New Straits Times/Maybank Car of the Year award for the RCZ.

The company also embarked on its first ever NST/Peugeot Design Competition which was open to university and secondary school students. The competition was aimed at encouraging students to venture into the field of automotive design.

For 2012, Nasim will introduce more models into its line-up and further expand its network to more markets in the country. It will also launch a new locally-assembled C-segment sedan, codenamed the T73 for both the domestic and export markets.
